1st one for the year...and AWAYYY WE GO

SO...my fellow Central Coast footballist supporters, howzit going, the new season is nearly upon us...and already its looking to be interesting....FOR INSTANCE....Our once faithfull leader and now Football Director , Laurie Mckinna is running for local council here on the sunny central coast....cant think of any other football manager of note anywhere that has ran for public office...by all means correct me if I'm wrong,.BUT give 'em hell Lozza.....AND...the one other bit of news concerning aussie football that cheered me up no end....that nimrod, halfwit, dingbat AFL spy, Ben Buckley is no more, his quit, got the flick or found an alternate position  somewhere else...don't matter, as long as he stays gone...

and his alledged replacement, none other than the former boss of the NRL..David Gallop, some might say his as bad as Buckley, I reckon anyone who could handle that salary cap shit the Melbourne Storm pulled and hung onto his job should be able to sort out a few things in the FFA that need sorting....like those ferkin jerkoffs who have been starting shit at the Wanderers trial games....now some people in the media  are constantly harping on about soccer hooliganism...(hint, it's initials are R.W) now, yes there is no place for that shit in modern football...BUT, there is more trouble at Australian Open on a annual basis than there is in aussie soccer...so all Dave has to do is ban the hoolie bastards FOR LIFE and if it keeps up, start taking points of the club of the fans involved...get a bit of self policing going on.

Maybe, just maybe, since Gallop done such a good job getting all the various rugby league organisations co-operating (sort of) he might be the chap to get the F.A Cup (aussie version) up and galloping..HAHAHA..GET IT..GALLOPING...anyway

NOW...to Mariner team stuff

You would be half a supporter at best of any team, if you didnt get the cacks when one of your favourite players goes to another club...BUT...you got to be happy when, same said players are making a quid or two in the deal, and lets be fair, very, very, few players are getting rich in the A-League..

2011 saw the Mariners lose a few guys to overseas clubs, Matty Simon..who got a rousing sendoff at Stade de Mariner signed a three year contract worth $400,000 per year to play for K-League side Chunnam Dragons, Rostyn G signed for Chinese Super League club Guangzhou and then Musti announced he was on his way to the Bundesliga to ply his trade under Jurgen Klop at Borussia Dortmund in 2012 and since he has been there, by all accounts the young  fella has done good . scoring a couple of goals in pre-season games, wonder if he has been on the receiving end of The Klop Dance yet?...you know your doing, alright when Jurgen goes charging up and down the touchline after you score....

more recently, our super keeper Matty Ryan has been overseas "training " at various EPL clubs, now, I fully expect Matt to bugger off o.s one day, BUT, it would be nice to hang onto him for another year, cause Justin Pasfield aint quite there yet (at least I think so) and to top the departures off, Mariners captain and legend Alex "Wilko" Wilkinson went to Korea for a couple of years....so yeh, we lost a few blokes.....Mind you we got Pat Zwaanswijk for another year so that was alright...and Arnie as is his way, he promoted a few young un's up to the big boys, Mitchell Duke, Anthony Caceres and Jimmy Oates have hit the bluetongue pitch running along with Zac Anderson from the defunct Gold Coast team, Brent Griffihs has come back from Heidelberg United for a year and to add a bit more of old head stability to the ranks, Arnies brought in Mile Sterjovski from Dailian Aerben.

Recently the boys hopped over the New Caledonia for a kick-a-bout with local side ,Les Cagous, and they done good, Young Mitchell got a couple in the game one of them from a nice bit of counter attack from Troy Hearfield, if they can keep that up this year, I'll be a bit happy, speaking of Troy he got one as did young Bernie...top stuff indeed

We got the West Sydney Wanderers at Parramatta Stadium in the first round of the new season...with any luck, we will kick a few and start the year off nicely...hope those jackoffs leave their flares at home.

C'MON YOU YELLOWS
