Who controls the A-league crown
Who keeps Sydney and Brisbane down
WE DO...WE DO...
I mean geez, we almost had a goal by the 5 minute mark, if Tommy was just a bit more balanced, that ball would of gone in....by rights , we should of had 3 or 4, if Tommy had his head over the ball he would of cracked one home in the second half, just before McBreen, McBreen the scoring machine added to his tally...mind you Paul Ifill and the belgian waffle should of had one each as well....BUT...thats footy for you, speaking of K1W1'S, how good is that Fenton kid gonna get if he stays fit and intact...real good is my tip.....
TO THE PLAYER POINTS
6/10 - Monty was decent but not at his best
6/10 - Hutcho ..see Monty
7/10 - Weemac was a bit quiet
7/10 - Pedj in comparison to usual.
8/10 - I thought it was Mile's best game to date.
7/10 - Rosey was good...Not great, but good
8/10 - Dutchy was at his imperious best.
9/10 Sainsbury back into top gear.
8/10 - Ryan saved from one serious blush - but apart from that good work as ever.
9/10 - McBreen - another class game. Working hard and getting due rewards.
8/10 - Tommy, good game, shoulda been better
6/10 - Bernie - mmmm... some god parts but still lacks in decision making skills and as such can
hold the ball too long at times.
Troy Hearfield - he should have come on a little earlier. But anyhow, always does a job when he comes on
All in all, there was few cheap turnovers but have to be happy with the 3 points... and as for the ref...well, he wasnt Ben Matthews BUT he wasnt a raging success either...OH YEAH, and on behalf of my better half, I have one more question...WERE THE HELL IS KWASI ??
AND ON OTHER ITEMS THAT CAUGHT OUR COLLECTIVE EYE'S
CCM INTERNATIONALS
Three of the boys will be looking to make an impact on the international stage in Asia over the next few days.....Mathew Ryan and Tomas Rogic (Socceroos) and Michael McGlinchey (New Zealand All Whites) are currently in camp in Korea Republic and China respectively preparing for their friendly duels....here is hoping they come back intact and having impressed some scouts with fat wallets....not that I want them to leave, but their earning window is reasonably narrow, you must admit
CROOKSY PULLS THE PIN
WELL....Like I said on the Smurf culling Blog, if Crooksy aint careful, he will be history...and sure as shite, his gone, he reckons he quit as Sydney FC head coach because the pressures of the job had started to become a burden on him....But sending your boss a text at 1.30 in the A.M is a strange way of resigning
At the press conference on Sunday afternoon, Crook shat all over the speculation that the club had pushed him out following Sydney's disappointing start to the season, saying his decision was 'weeks in the making'....and I quote:"I just felt that it started to affect me and probably my health," Crook said. "I haven't enjoyed it for a few weeks if the truth be known...."I feel like it's been a burden, a constant burden."
SO.. by my reckoning, the premier club in the competition (BOLLOCKS) will be looking for their 7th coach in 8 years...Terry McFlynn's head must be spinning....wouldnt it be a chuckle if ADP got the job...how very Chelsea of them that would be, remember when Vialli said "I support Ruud Gullitt all the way", then took his job, a week later, thats what I mean bu how Chelsea of them
THE FFA IS OFF AND GALLOPING
former Head Keeper of the knuckledraggers, Dave Gallop took up his position as Uncle Frank's, Head Scapegoat in Charge...yeh, yeh..so I'm a cynic....but I think this will be the one job were he has had were he wont report that someone "defecated" in a hallway...that will be a nice change for him...here is hoping he puts a rocket up the referees.
