ITS THE MAD MID YEAR MARINER SALE

This one is gonna come from the heart, so if I seem to be rambling, your probably right , I am
FIRSTLY...let me say from the off that I want all out young guys from the Mariners to make as much cash as they can at the highest level they can...so them going off O/S is to be expected and I understand that among other things the club is a business that wants to realise profits, I get that!..

However, cant you wait till our season is done ?...I may very well have a minimal grasp of the situation...if someone could help me out with the specifics of the transfer window B.S, i.d be happy to read them...BUT....the Mariner supporter in me is thoroughly fkn annoyed at the event's of the past week or so....

lets start with Matty Ryan, the gun keeper of the comp, His off to "train " with Rangers in the Scottish 4th Division, WHY, in any sensible universe would you want to go to a club that, while one of the powers of  Scottish football, wont get to play in the top division for an age plus Matty wont be the head keeper, so his going be on the planks in freezing cold bloody Scotland, hoping to get 2 minute's here and there...doesnt make any sense...and now apparently..Randers in Denmark have said they have interest in Matty...better than the scottish pub league I guess

also, apparently, alledgedly, Ian Ferguson from the Perth Glory had a few words with Ally McCoist about Matt Ryan..here's a thought Fergie..GO SELL YOUR OWN FKN ROSTER !

Then there is young Tommy, initially had some interest from Reading in the EPL,
but Reading wont survive relegation and he would lose half his money as per the rules of relegation...Having said that, I don't think Tommys physical strength or wind is up to snuff yet for an EPL stint...another year at least in the Mariners camp under Sgt Major Clarky would do him the world of good....

And  then I find out that  is Bernie, his is off to "train" with Club Brugge in Belgium, with an apparent offer of $350,000 on the table...

BUT...Bernie remains contracted to Central Coast until the end of next season, which means they can hold onto the promising forward through the January transfer window and there is no risk he will leave the Mariners for free at the end of this campaign.....

And now, apparently, alledgedly,  cashed-up Asian clubs are eyeing off top scorer Daniel McBreen, Hutcho and Olly Boz...GREAT...JUST BRILLIANT....

Hell,  lets just run the yoof team onto the park in Tassie on the  weekend and let the Victory kick shit out of us...the way its going the young boys will be getting a start sooner than they planned

If these "trials" pay off (apart from Bernie), by the time the transfers kick in, the team will look decidely different than the team that beat the Wanderers last week......

Arnie is quoted as saying  re: the sale of players "We might lose a bit of flair, but the structures will stay the same and I'm confident enough in our tactical and physical set-up, "Plus we've got some good young kids that no one has seen yet, that are training in the youth team."

While the clubs at it, I'm sure there is a 3rd division Mexican team that would "trial" Tesco half way through the Jets game next week or maybe there is a Romanian All Age team for Zac to miss some important games for...

This is really shaping up to be the our year, everything's clicking, maybe this is the year  just to say "go to buggery"  a few times and make the money in future years?...I mean is this really the only opportunity these guys are gonna get...Well, it might be Maccas last hoorah and probably Hutchos, but you get the drift .

So, I say lets keep the side together, win the league (for the 3rd time) and then have a serious crack at the Foxtel post season cup......The powers that be can scratch round under the lounge cushions to keep us going until new TV cash kicks in (which will help)
