WE ROLLED THE BARREL (boys)

Like all great games of soccer there were emotions involved.... last night had two  distinct emotions!

FAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaakk...and....Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Although after about 2 and a 1/2 minutes on Friday night ..the phrase "COULDNT FINISH A CUP OF COFFEE" sprung to mind...and I'm not just picking on Macca....

The first half was one of the most one-sided games I have ever seen and then after pounding the Snowtown penalty are relentllessly..they go down the other end bloody Bowles has a crack the shot got deflected and beats Matty Ryan, giving Snowtown an undeserved lead.

one particular stat was pretty entertaining too - Balls into the penalty area CCM 51, ADL 15...I think Kossie boys showed up to make up the numbers only

Speaking of  stats, oand i'm talking successful corners at this point, I must ask, Isnt a set play supposed to be an advantage for the team taking it?, where was the trickiness with our corners. 14 CORNERS and 13 of them just hit aimlessly into the penalty box ,we may have got our head on 1 or 2...probably

I still cant explain how it didnt end up 10-1?


Not a really bad player son the field last night and the SECOND team to us on the table never looked in the match even when they took the lead.

So because we were defending so well, we bonked ourselves by giving Bowles a deflection...so it could be argued that we scored ALL the goals...... basically we "barrelled" them from Snowtown to move 6 POINTS CLEAR - OH YEAH!

No surprise to me that we had better shape and movement without Sterj. He needs a kick up the arse and hopefully this game is it. Hutcho was improved, mind you he only touched the ball about twice

Best performance since the 7-2 thrashing of the Smurfs.

Ryan 7.5. Solid game.

Pedj 8. Awesome game. he beat 3 players to set us a nice attack

Rose 7.5 good game. More intelligent and a real handful.

Zacko 7. Pretty solid. Fantastic to have a player of his quality as back up.

Dutchy 7.5. ....Too much Dutch isnt enough.....majestic as usual.

WeeMac 7.5 .....All over the place, dangerous all game.

Hutcho 6.5. .you won't get a nose bleed if you go into the opponents half....

Monty 8. This guy is a dead set legend. a brutal(but safe) tackler and often breaks up opposing attacks and instantly sends us into attack.

Olly 7. Couldn't score in a brothel but is a lovely player with great movement and lovely feet. No doubt we are a better side when he starts, he somehow hit the Western Stand when Galekovic was stranded out of goal

Bernie 7.0. Couldnt score in the same brothel as Olly with $200 in his pocket,  but also layed off some quality balls..

Macca 7. couldn't finish a cup of coffee at the moment, but on the plus side, he put himself about.

SUBS: 

Duke 8.5. What an effort and quality finishing. turned the game, take a bow son. Proper strikers goals...Just superb. MOM.

Fitzy 7.5  welcome back, great set up for WeeMac. Looks lively.

OH and on a side note...I just watched the replay and Kosmina looks like he belongs on Underbelly
