I though we could of knicked or at least drew, until the ref given advantage caught up with us...poor Fitzy, first yellow was bullshit, second was almost fair enough, although the smurfs were going down like Brazillian superstars....

good to Rose The Elder back, he had a alright go, even better in a couple of weeks...Fabio got a blue fence built around him and Posco did pretty damn good...Royo the Boyo needs to concentrate a tad more perhaps, he could of had a couple if he had quickly raced the process through his cortex.....

how about that first half (or both) by the moron with the whistle ( and the liney on the club side)...and the SFC goalie doing the take down was a red card forever...

mind you with all the chances the smurfs got, it took an ex mariner to get it for 'em....the booing of said ex mariner was a bit mean i though....I hope that ref gets a bollocking from the ref bosses...cause it has to be said that he dont deserve the job

We were flying after Fab and Roy scored our goal but then the penalty not given and the red card soon after took the wind out of the boys sails.....defence looked much better with Rose back in the side.....

probably the most incompetent ref in a supposed professional league, we were mugged by a school boy and his mate with the flag on the Club side had less than half a clue as well...there were a crapload of weird calls that left everyone in The Ancient Mariners of Bay 17 utterly stunned. So many calls had everybody in the bay left looking at each other trying to work or exactly what the ref thought he saw......

I'm still not sure how Ferreira had that free go against him. Caceres at one point was manhandled by no less than three SFC players and somehow ended with a free to them! ?....

bloody Brandon O'Neill, the semi thug, got a yellow card in 21st minute, 10 minutes later he bashed the back of Fabio and should have got a second yellow, INSTEAD, from the resulting attack Smell scored. We got ours back soon after BUT then, the horrendous no penalty call and Fitzy's two yellows. That 10 minutes cost us the game. We could have been 2-0 up and Sydney down to 9 men. Instead we ended up 1-1 at the break and us at 10 men.

Once we went a man down I figured a loss was pretty much inevitable. But full credit to the lads - the fact that it took the Smurfs until the final 10 minutes to score again (with a former Mariner no less) says a lot to me about how we're coming along. Give it a few more rounds and we'll be there......The more I see of O'Donovan the more I like him...McGing donea really good job, boy has a touch of Sainsbury about him

Simo's 2 goals were identical to each other, except that one was a kick and one was a header. Exact same move down the wing, exact same cross. First one, Izzo had it covered but it copped a deflection......

I'm still happy with Izzo - and he did some great things in distribution, but other times he needs to slow down. Throwing the ball out when he's still in a crowd is a bit bloody risky.....

Yes he takes a few risks coming out and over time he'll learn when to judge those better, but the fact is, that he's now got the confidence to back himself on these. I couldn't really blame him for the goals. An unmarked Simon is a dangerous thing -and if you look at Simon's first one, it only went in because of the deflection, Izzo was on the money otherwise.

OH yeaah..and to Arnie, what was that shit on the sidelines giving our bench a spray after Simo scored....

OH YEAH Hey Arnie, go bash your head up your bum , there was absolutely no need for that crap on the sidelines last night...no one on the bench bloody sacked him...DICKHEAD

I thought we looked a much smarter side tonight and without a blatant cheat for a ref would have won or at worse got a draw.....Sydney are crap but big credit to Matty for his lovely (completely unmarked) goals.

We looked much better organised.....I would have started Austin instead of Fitzy.
Posco was excellent and McGing looks like he will develop into a top player. Rose the Elder has to start at Left back.....Monty was fantastic as was Fab.....Roys workrate was incredible and the finish was good.....Rose the younger improved as the game went on and looks like a good player.
