IT'S A MARINATED WORLD: We tried for a draw but won...CCM V ROAR

You may very well be wondering(or not) where my reports have been going of late...WELL...the necks has been playing up so typing wasnt on my radar + I didnt see the game in Japan so I cant say it was good , bad or indifferent....ANYWAY..to the Roar game.

I was fully prepared for the crowd to be less than when the Wanderers came to town...BUT...during the warm up I was slightly concerned that no bugger was coming to the game, there was hardly anyone watching warm up which is unusual...we ended up with 7,000 odd...I dont think there was that many BUT who am I to argue with scanning technology.

The roar on the other hand have lost something...I didnt see much of Thomas Broich, Mitch Nicolls got 10 minutes , Murdocca got about the same and that even the raving lunatic, pyscho, gypsy Barisha thingymabob was relatively calm...they had a couple of runs at goal...only cause we let them....they really had nothing to offer until we started to run out of puff.

As a matter of fact, at one point I thought I was watching East Gosford under 6's...the guys were that clumped together, you could have thrown the half time hyundai banner over both teams with material to spare

THE REF RANT BIT...

two words DROOLING NITWIT....I got no idea how many crap tackles he let go, must of been double figures, although that seems to be a trend with all the refs, maybe their waiting for a broken leg and a outcry before they do something....back to the games ref...SACK HIM, HE IS A NONG.

SO...second in the comp with two games to go + 2 ACL runs at Fortress Bluetongue ...i'll be happy with second and a home semi. 1st woulda been better BUT when you let Perth and Sydney beat ya , you take what you can get.
