Yep...once again we shoulda had a 1/2 dozen...but two was enough, Matty Ryan had his magnets in his gloves last night, two great scrambling saves..as for the chinese goal, Rosey what were you thinking?....

and how about the chinese coach ..whinging and whining and jumping up and down about the scoreboard going to black and distracting his players, he wanted to pull the pin on the game..

Pedj..what can I say, cracker goal.

And then there was our Golden Boot...9 feet out of the goal and you launch it over the crossbar...MACCA...BLOODY HELL

Bernie was almost unstoppable, Rosey got forward regularly in support
McGlinchey - is our best player, we dont have anyone else near the technical level he is at and young Tesco,  nice first goal fella

On the crowd, it was highly disapointing,  however we look at it, rain hail or shine, midweek, traffic etc, 2500 is really not on....it was a crap crowd even adding in the huge amount of fairweather fans the Mariners have, maybe had something to do with lack of media, or maybe the coast were just being themselves

AND ARNIE SAID_

“Three points was a must tonight,” Arnold said. “It was either three points or bust for us.”
“To be able to get the three points and perform that way was exceptional.”
“It could have easily been three or four nil before they scored. It was a very sloppy goal to give away. We gave them energy to get back into the game, but overall it was a fantastic performance.”
“I think we’ve shown over the last three years that we belong in the (AFC) Champions League.”

All in all a good performance, puts us in a good position for progressing through the group.

back to china in 6 days .sort of explains why arnie was slow to go to his subs.....
