CCM v (Lack of ) Heart - Better second than Sydney

FIRSTLY...How pathetic were The Scum against the Drive Bys!...thanks for nothing Van Egmond , your not a coach's bum hole...and on the other end of the coaching spectrum......How good is Arnie and his system, that he is able to rest more than 50% of the regular team starters and still dominate the opposition!

I thought we done real good, even with a second string side. I thought Heart were toothless and Aloi$i  has lost any incentive after 8 straight whoopings

8.0 - Olly was our best player.
7.7- Pasfield is a decent keeper.
6.9 - Pedj...looked like he hadnt played for 6 weeks
6.9 - Griffo..bit slow, need to boost his pace.
7.0 - Zacko...pretty decent but did poorly on their goal.

8.0 - Dutchy.....classy and dominant
7.0 - Fitzy.....he was lively but rather sloppy. Gave the ball away a lot.
7.5 - Caceras....good player and good game, he will make the grade. Not in musti's class just yet.
7.9 - Macca....good penalty and as usual he was busy and congrats on the Golden Boot!!
7.8 - Sterj.......heaps better.
7.6 - McDonald...handy debut. Set us the first goal with great run and pass.
AND..
7.7 - Pellers...even he done good...he was only half a donkey this time

Coach John Aloisi didn’t front up to the Heart bench for the second half, he couldn’t the referee had sent him off after he called Gillett a &%$# in the tunnel during the break...

you can’t help wondering if his side showed the same aggression for 90 minutes they would not be at the bottom of the ladder.

The second half picked up when Duke's came on, Mitch lifted the tempo and the Mariners dominated play. Caceres joined in when he brilliantly skipped past three defenders and slid the pass through for Duke to calmly beat Faulty Bolty to make it 2-0.

Arnie pointed out they finished with more points than last year, a terrific return despite not retaining the Premier’s Plate. With three consecutive wins behind them, and McBreen scoring from the penalty spot, they can face the tough tests ahead with great confidence.

AND finally congrats to Poppa and the FFA Wanderers.

Who would have thought that allowing a team to play under a different set of rules to everybody else would enable them to win? ( is my annoyance showing?)

let's see how good the Wanderers are when they're brought down to a level playing field....and 15% of their fan base go to Long Bay for a rest

Now is the time to put the Wanderers in their proper place with a flogging in the grand final....assuming they survive the semi's...mind you, the FFA might see that that happens
