Rnd 17: the Snore @ Suncorp

Well it wasn't a bad result considering the unsettling week the boys had and to they had to play the league leaders at the Roardome …. so no I am not disapointed about the result.

The guts are torn from the side, the odds are against us, and we nearly held on to a point (and nearly nicked one, for what it's worth). The rest of the comp better watch out if the cards fall our way.

HOWEVER! Rosey has been near as dreadful. Has to be given a stint on the planks

. He's been pretty lacklustre all season. If a player like henrique comes off the bench, you DO NOT stand 8 meters off him and give him space to move. You put constant pressure on every ball he receives. 

That was a goal that could have easily been avoided. Henrique lost Rose and headed for space every time roar were on the offensive. Duke has been played out of position all year, dumb. He has looked a little lost all season thanks to moss. In saying that, he definitely needs some composure.

Hutch has to go. He has no momentum about his play at all. His tacking game is non-existent and his passing does nothing but slow the game down and force shitty, pressured releases out of Reddy.

Roux, Fitz and Caceres is where we are doing the most damage. It's where we are getting our best distribution and speed. Not to mention Fitz and Caceres aren't afraid to pull the trigger outside the 18 yard box, which our strikers seem to lack confidence in. 

Simon has no other gear but hot to cold He scores one goal and everyone goes nuts. We're gonna need to sort it out before next week or Rogic is gonna tear our guys apart.

Throwing it out there.. Bernie Ibini what happened to the old one? Cus I really like the new one.. He's keeping the ball closer to him, got much more confidence in taking a player on one on one..

I thought we played quite well and we worked hard but Brisbane have more quality than us currently and we looked like we were playing for a draw.
Our midfield was dominated and created very little but they did smother well.

The back four worked extremely hard and did well as a unit.

Reddy 7. Would have been my MOM had he stopped the Gypo scoring the winner.
Roux 5.5. A bit sloppy with his passing, needs to practice hitting feet with every pass.
Siep 6. Did a reasonable job
Ando 7. Pretty good game.
Rose 7. Tried hard but did get mugged on the first goal.
Monty 6. Worked hard but not up to his usual standard.
Hutcho 6.5. Reasonable to good(in patches). Tried to rally his troops.
Caceras 7. Worked very hard. Our long ball game didn't suit him but more creative than Hutch and Monty.
Fitz 8. MOM. Showing great belief now. He was basically our only creative outlet until Bernie came on.
Sterj. 7. Decent game.
Simon 6.5. Hacked all game. He defended from the front and worked like a Trojan.

SO...the Mexicans are coming up on the weekend...Musc**t, the Rogic stealing arsehat, and his team of tards...dunno if Eddie or KSY will be playing...but FIRE UP regardless
