I was down in Campbelltown with the missus on a family visit, so, we went down the Catholic Club to watch the game, got there in time to watch Harrys last pro game and got into some freindly banter with drivebys that appear to be regulars...
MH V WSW finish and lo and behold, the gold coast suns come on to paddock wrestle with chaps who had the same skill set, all us HAL fans enquire as to What the hell, the supervisor cant find the Mariners game, so i text a mate, tells me the game is on 512 or as it is in the guide, SPEED, trouble was, the club doesnt have 512, NO club has channel 512, not even Bathurst RSL and they hold that big car race thing there.,
SO the question begs...what ignorant, halfwit, dipshit at Foxtel thought that was a good idea ?....a game to sort out the semis AND they put it on a channel no club has ....MORONS......so, I we were asked by the supervisor if we wanted to watch an nrl game or something...if i didnt laugh, i would of screamed
Thus I shall leave the game high points up to Wombat...go for it son....
BRIS VEGAS VERSION
Reddy 8. This bloke is great. I can't believe I used to want to chuck bottles at his head when he was a Scummer. His sweeping was brilliant tonight. Getting very close to being our player of the year.
Storm 8. Great game. Defended very well and cut back for Fitzy was class.
Ando 8. Excellent. His best game all year.
Bosnar 8. Also rock solid.
Rose 8. Brilliant covering tackle on Petro kept us in the game. Really good throughout and I'm gonna pretend I didn't see the schoolboy error when he headed back inside.
Bernie 8. Really fulfilling the potential. MUST be resigned.
Monty 9. Like a rapid dog......exactly what I want from my DM. Showed real quality tonight. MOM. Loves the armband and clearly deserves it on match day. I didn't see a single stray pass.
Caceras 8.5. Easily his best game for CCM. Lovely goal. Some great distribution and looked great with the ball at his feet.
Terrifo 7. Good effort. Did very well on his first start.
Duke 8. Brilliant work rate.
Fitz 8.5. Last week he worked harder than everyone else but his thought process let him down. This week he was awesome and his finish was sublime.

Really impressed with Sterjovski especially his immediate impact....such quality and composure. Ive always felt this is when we should use him for full impact but you can understand coaches mistakingly wanting to use him for the full 90 due to his quality.
Griff2 was really good....in fact he looked a natural at this level.
Sim was lively.

May the football god praise Liam Reddy...cause after 15 minutes, most of the boys went ni-ni's, well, apart from Rosey and occasionally Monty and AC that iss....we should of got done 4-0, luckily that bloke from Seoul was ever so slightly off target all night...
.NOW...to Rostyns brother, I know it isnt his doing, but give back Zwaanje's shirt, there aint no way you earned the right to wear # 6...and i'm not the only one who thinks so...mind you thats probably only a fan thing, hell our club missed Hutchos 200th game...so a sacred shirt number wouldnt even show up on their radar
The boys seem to be going one week on one week off don't they....crap against Glory, beat Roar, crap against Seoul..SO...using that piece of mathematical genius we should wallop Adelaide...maybe, if the reds think their still playing the Scummers that is

Started very nicely but suddenly we decided we would hide in our own half until it got worse and worse until we were bordering on pathetic in the second half.
Moss had a shocker tonight.
Reddy 9. Mom. Without him we would have lost 4 nil.
Storm 7.5. Played well.
Rose 7. One of our better players.
Chesty 6.5. Did ok.
Griff 6. Nearly cost us a goal with a sloppy turnover and owes the woodwork a drink. Cracking shot in the second half that was possibly our only shot all f**king night.
Sterjovski 5. Invisible.
Caceras 6. One nice through ball.
Hutcho 5. What the f**k was that own goal. Why were you even there when you are supposed to be leading the midfield. ....straight back to the bench please.
Kim 5.5. Average.
Monty 7. Superb in the first half but gave the ball away abut in the second to blot the copybook.
Simon 5. Very poor tonight.
Subs...all average.
Gutless effort to be hionest.
Storm, Rose, Reddy and Monty were the only players to get a pass mark.
Crowd did well......I really missed the band...where were you?????
