CCM v GLORY - CLEAN SHEET, 3 POINTS & A KHARMA POWERED RED CARD

all photos courtesy of some  CCM, googling and Jason Pratt Photoraphy

THE HIGHLIGHTS
(unless your Reddy)

G'day,
how about that then ?, clean sheet , 3 points and that tosser Reddy got kharma running him over for being a rude twat...well done to Bingaz (although you shoulda had two) , cant believe KGJ's reffing did he have a migraine or something?...good to see Posco back , you could see the difference straight away up the back and then there was Izzo , that save near the end from Izzo was absolutely fantastic, Maty Ryan stuff., ...in Izzo we trust

Monty got MoM and Meme of the week ....Bay was rocking , I was having flashbacks with some of those chants

Bingham was a target from goal kicks and was a good physical presence. Deserves more time. maybe share time with Roy  every game.

That was the best game I've seen Fab have for us. A handful of sweet, sweet passes, especially in the first half. If not for Monty giving Reddy a send off, Fab would've been my motm.

Slater pissed off that he couldn't rant about us being shit and tried to anyway when the scoreline was 2-0....someone needs to unplug Slaters fkn headset, what a vindictive fkn arsehat...

AND NOW FOR A COUPLE OF INDEPENDENT APPRAISALS...sort of

The back 4 looked SO much better. Posco was outstanding. Roux left his man once and nearly cost us a goal in the second half. Perth butchered a tap in in 1st half when someone left him unmarked.....couldn't see if Rose or Roux from bay 17.
Also really impressed with Galloway tonight.

But that is best they have played all year and only 2 mistakes is pretty good.
Midfield was good. Monty was magnificent. Fab had a super game. McGing had his best game of the year and is far more comfortable further up the park
Izzo was sensational.
Bingers was very good and I'd definitely resign him for next year

Izzo - Some magnificent saves. There was some great defensive displays, but he is the most responsible for our clean sheet. Such an important contribution. For mine this year is the best in the league.

Posc - Immense, a true CB with decent judgement makes such a difference. Smart on the ball, great mongrel and some good passing too.

Roux - in a good team game was our weakest I thought, but still decent. Defensively he does not read the game as well or think as quickly as Galloway or Posc, but he's improving and nearly always links well.

Rose - solid.

Galloway - great game, defended well, and combined vitally down the left to help get the ball back in centrally when Pain was not getting much joy against the leagues best RB.

Monty - he is the leading light for the A league on what a Captain is. To play as he does, and lead as he does, after the two seasons he's just had... what a f**king star. Reddy is not fit to walk the same pitch as him, and the football gods agreed and he was sent accordingly.

Pain - Risdon kept him quiet, one of the only players who has enough pace and core strength to match him toe to toe. But he still played a smart and strong team game, defending and combining well in general.

Fab - awesome game - played a lot of good balls, showed endeavour, presented well, earned a lot of fouls, and stepping up for that pen? Man that took some balls. Great game.
Trent - lots of good work - causes headaches and many palpitations for his defenders.

However he missed what teams generally cannot afford to miss if they hope to win games, should have played Powell in on goal, and his final ball is too often casually kicked into the first man/defender without any real effort to get a yard on him, wrong foot or cut back in. I'm sure this area of his game will have been noted and likely we'll see it improve. However all that is entirely irrelevant when you are responsible for getting Reddy sent from the field. :overheadl: Outstanding. What a great moment.

Bingham, held the ball up well which allowed our midfield to get up the park, requiring Perth to shift back and gave us the kind of field position that we have too often struggled for and meant we were not as reliant on our wingers as we have been. This combined with Fab's game, meant we could attack through the centre and were far more dangerous. He missed a sitter I'm sure he would bury 99 times out of a hundred, but scored a critical goal. Very good game.

Cheers to @CCMFANS regulars Wombat and Phoenix for their inputs

Snowtown United in Cantberra next week...so all l can say is ....
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS

SEEYA
