IT'S A MARINATED WORLD: Rnd 3 and 6..A well drawn week

WELL...that was 20% skill and 200% guts....Mrs Recky and moi made our way to Mexico for this one...and as much as Ive been known to bag our fearless leader ...HOW GOOD WAS HUTCHO...damn, he can yank one out of thin air when he needs it, cant he?....Thats the Hutcho of old.... Back when he'd lift the squad just by crunching some deserving wank with a tackle at a critical moment. he'd say " bugger you lot, I'll show you how to score a goal,if you girls cant"

At 2-0 down, the City supporters were giving it to the travelling faithful,.the hide...They done nothing and they been around 10 minutes....Sadly, some drunken City a$$holes put the fear into the wife, so we split before the Hutcho moment...I'm really starting to think that dickheads should be breathalised before entry into games...the hard part will be identifying the numbnuts before the start.

I have to admit that Portaloo's goal was half decent....not as good as Trickys OR Hutchos but half decent....I blanked out the other one...was it any good?

Smart.
Monty, Fitzy, Simon and Duke are our only players with any grunt.
Monty loses out to the coaches pet, when we should only be playing with 1 DM.
Fitzy hasn't done enough to nail down a starting spot 100% but if Mossy starts Sim on front of him again I will start to lose it.
Duke is our only centre forward and even Mossy's foggy mind has worked out that Mane is not a Centre forward.
Not great at all but a baby step in the right direction. Two quality strikes saved our arse and Melbourne will be annoyed they didn't close that game out.

The defence is shambolic. The midfield is toothless and we are poor in front of goal. Movement is still poor.....but that point may give us some belief and confidence

Reddy 8.5. Only reason we got a point. MOM.
Neill 6.5. Lively. Quite good going forward but not great defensively.
Postco 6.5. I saw some good signs but still too loose.
Ando 5.5. Better than Bosnars last game but not by much. Sloppy.
Rose 6. Mixed bag. Sometimes looked out best defender but sometimes caught out.
Monty 5.5. Not his best game.
Hutcho 6.5. Good finish. Did a reasonable job for most of the game. Still too slow in movement and thought but showed some guts.
Fitz 6. Did very well in the first half and unsettled Heart/City with his direct running.
Caceras 6. Not really dominating any games so far this year.
Sim 5.5. The millstone around Mossy's neck. Some good deadball delivery but basically very average.
Duke 6. A couple of good layoffs.

Vernes and Trif made a difference and Trifs goal was classy.

Surprisingly *not* a full house at WANDERLAND, I have to wonder if the gloss wearing off the red & black?... the *big* drawcard was the presentation of the AFC Cup to the home fans. There should have been a full house for that

Poppa disappointed me when he said usual "we wuz robbed" in the post match interview....robbed my arse, they had the ref helping AND they still couldnt score.

I'd f**king *love* to know how they were robbed. Seriously, How many times did Monty get the ball cleanly in the middle of the park only to have the numpty in blue blow his whistle.... Monty's self control against the repetitive crap/provocation of the referee was extraordinary....I'm fairly certain I would of snapped

the pre game interview with LaRocca turned into a classic when he was asked what was the best part about living in western sydney was he said it has great beaches...YOU IDIOT, we live where you holiday, not the other way around...ANYWAY

Can someone explain to me what Matty Sim is supposed to be doing, when he got that bagfull against the Sharks, I thought he we go, but since then ..nothing of any real worth.

The goals will come. duke is the striking the ball well . as our opportunities improve he'll get goals......fitzy just needs to settle a bit.....We need Matty back. the dual threat of him and Duke will prove more deadly than what we've had, I think...OH and by the by...Coach Bosnar was hardly conspicuous by his absence...HUH?
