IT'S A MARINATED WORLD: RND 7 :CCM vs Adelaide WE GOT BARRELED BY THE BARREL BOYS

SO...there we were, Me, Wombat and OzBaggie in our usual spot in Bay 17 trying to figure out two things
1: what the f**k is this ref doing....and
2: what the f**k is our coaching staff doing....sure, some blame can be laid squarely at the feet of some players, BUT, Mossy and Sullivan are the ones with final say on tactics..HAHAHAHAH...what tactics, anyway apart from Hutcho, Monty, Storm, Mick Neill, Tricky, Rosey and Reddy the rest of the squad need to take a real long hard look at themselves.

I cant believe I was feeling sorry for Zac Anderson when he was on the outer for those couple of weeks, He's too slow.and takes too much time to make a decision and looks so nervous on the ball. I cringe every time he touches the ball....its become quite bloody apparent that he should of gone into the ether with the rest of Gold Coast United.

And as for the Matt Sim experiment..ITS OVER...apart from those goals against sub standard opponents ( sorry Palm Beach) he has accomplished just about jack shit...ditch him to the youth squad so he can learn to play football

And then there was Dukey and Fitzy..what the hell has happened to these two?...Dukes is a striker ..RIGHT?...then explain to me how he his playing out on the wing or up the back defending or running around headless chook like INSTEAD of hitting a shot PROPERLY into the back of the net, he was running around like a chook as usual, but anywhere near the penalty area he must've been looking to pick up wheat. Because he certainly wasn't playing striker, ...and Fitzy, the obvious replacement for Wee Mac has turned into being replaced by Isaka Cernak...WTF!...someone needs a confidence transplant methinks.

NOW...the officiating, or lack there of, where the hell did Jared Gillette get his licence, its been agreed among the the Ancient Mariners of Bay 17 that the FIFA badge on his shirt stands for F**KIN IDIOTS FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION..I swear he has his own rule book, and pedantic, dont even start me about his microscopic nitpicking about where the ball must be for a free kick....and if he thinks that us ending up a man down was the right thing , then bloody Adelaide should of been two down, assuming of course that the proper FIFA rule book was being used of course

I hear tell that people were yelling at Bruce Stadler varying levels of abuse, while he was safely ensconed behind his glass wall...thats fair enough, a goodly percentage were yelling at Mossy and he wasnt behind a glass wall.....speaking of Mossy, he cant possibly be thinking that this total crap is acceptable..can he?...cause he dont change it at all, I think it was Oz Baggie that said " some people just aint Manager material"....as much as I'm a beliver in the truth, that its not all the managers fault so why sack him, but now, I dunno, I do know for sure that Sully has brought nothing to the table.

Hutcho appeared not to agree with being subbed and angrily stormed down the players’ tunnel. The Fox commentators claimed that Moss said there was nothing in it; Hutch was going for an early shower on a humid day. Well, he would say that wouldn’t he? I have never seen a player do that, especially the captain, who would have known the impression it could give. If Moss has lost Hutchinson, he really has lost the dressing room......There was time for Montgomery to join Hutch in the shower after a second yellow. I would love to have heard the conversation.

One of the guys from the CCM forum had this to say:
"After the match I was sitting with good mate of mine in one of the bars at the CCLC having a couple of after match non celebratory drinks I don't want to be the bringer of negativity but what we witnessed was concerning not 2 mtrs away Hutch and his mates discussing current coaching 1 minute later a procession of players entered bar accompanied by bespectacled gent, Hutch leaps up and says lets get out of here and go to Terrigal" ......a interesting occurence

Apparently Marcos Flores was at the game and said something along the lines of "What the #&$* is Mossy doing and why is Dukey playing there?" ...I can confirm that everyone I know has said the same thing.

I am truly concerned about the F3 Derby next week, I really believe that we are gonna get our arses handed to us...and that should be the end of the Moss era...ya think?

Mike Mulvey is available and the club should grab him while they can. We are a train wreck and I'm fearful the dreadful Scummers might even beat us next week.

Onto the game...

We actually played quite well for the first 40 mins and were the better side but our woeful defence conceeded 2 in 5 minutes the very first time they were pressured. Adelaide should have had another 2.

My observations without the benefit of TV replay....

Sim is completely lost (although his dead ball delivery is good) and out of his depth. Mossy is making a rod for his own back.
We need to pay someone like Mark Rudan to come in and teach the defence the basic fundamentals of their job.
The lack of movement is criminal......don't they practice two touch football?
It makes my blood boil to see our midfield sit back when we make a break and no players available or one bloke surrounded by 4defenders once we get the ball into the box.
We create so little it's sad to watch.

Reddy 5.5. Wtf was he doing up there when we were 2 nil down and was hugely lucky not to get a red for the hack. Still is was the most enjoyable moment of the game.
Storm 6. Decided to do our midfielders job but needs to concentrate on keeping clean sheets.
Neil 6. Suspect defensively again but looks good going forward.
Zac 5. Cumbersome.
Rose 6.5. Ball watches too much for a CB but did some good things.
Sim 4. Totally out of his depth. Bounces around without a clue. Touch is poor but dead ball delivery is good. Must have some shocking photos of Mossy in the safe.
Hutcho 6. Not his worst game.
Monty 7. Mom but only because everyone else was so poor.
Caceras 5.5. Too lazy or lackadaisical for my liking.
Fitzy 5. Started off very well but faded badly and his decision making is very average.
Duke 6. Left stranded again. Worked hard but looks short on confidence.

Ref was a complete retard but his incompetence was dwarfed by ours.

Subs...Vernes and Cernak were ok.

1 more week then time for a new coach.
